When I was growing up in the 60s and 70s, we said the Pledge of Allegiance every day. Not only was prayer allowed, but band and choirs often included Christian music in performances. There were Christmas and Easter decorations in the rooms and hallways.

I grew up in a medium size city in the midwest, and kids who hunted would often have rifles in their truck in the school parking lot.

For decades, this was how it was, and how many school shootings happened? None that I can think of.

The Columbine massacre was in 1999, at a time when the efforts to remove religion from schools was well underway.

If you truly think religion in schools caused school shootings and violence, you really need to do some research. You are simply as wrong as you can be.

Quite the opposite is true. The current violence and shootings began happening after religion was removed from schools and a lot of daily life.
