Now I'm back to thinking TardTown isn't a real girl.
Anyway (and I've long considered this a possibility), the only way this becomes legit and deadly is if they actually release something legit and deadly, which hitherto they have not.
They would claim it mutated. They would blame "the people who didn't take it seriously", etc.
