What do they know that we don't?
Quoting: Tess. Do they normally have September as Preparedness Awareness Month or is it a new campaign? I think that's a US thing. Not heard of it in London, unless it's new. "The campaign 30 Days, 30 Ways UK is a preparedness and community resilience campaign which started in Northamptonshire 6 years ago. The campaign starts on September 1 in line with National Preparedness Month. The aim is to turn the idea of preparedness into a game and asks people to plan for a range of emergencies including fires in the home, power cuts and flooding. The campaign will be taking place all over the UK, with local resilience partners such as the emergency services, local authorities, utilities and health, taking part to put emphasis local actions for each of the 30 key messages throughout the month."
