I recommend sticking to Utah sea salt, such as Redmond Real Salt, as much as possible. Celtic sea salt is also a good option. Consider limiting your use of sea salts sourced from the Pacific ocean, given the large quantity of particles found in Pacific sea salt in this study.

Himalayan sea salt is what I use the most.

Some salt has anti caking agent added to it, which is not good for you. Try to avoid salt with additives, such as yellow prussiate of soda (anti-caking agent) aka Sodium ferrocyanide. Another anti caking agent used in some salt is sodium silico-aluminate.

Just get SALT, without the anti caking additives for cooking.

Five stars for this thread - disgusting but important. How could we not have plastics in us, considering that every sea creature and I believe many fresh-water fish do.

And not just what we eat but what we drink... water bottles also release some plastic when are exposed to sunlight.

Not to mention the cheapness of milk jugs. So many use them to store other liquids and it's a big mistake with everything that leaches from the plastics into the contents - only reason it works for milk is that it spoils quite soon, and thus is drunk quickly enough to prevent maximum leaching.
