By contrast, very blue states like California are presided over by wonderful, beautiful liberals. For example, Gavin Newsom.

He is the governor who gave an impromptu press conference several days ago in the setting of one of the many areas ravaged by wild fires. His tone was upbeat, even giddy. He smiled as he said all the destruction somehow proved that climate change (formerly global warming) was a real thing.

Again, his demeanor was light-hearted, even smiley-smiley.

Of course, Newsom does happen to be a wonderful, beautiful liberal.

Even more so if a leftist gets into the White House.

Do liberals generally give a damn about full-on honesty, fundamental common sense, basic integrity, crucial ethics and legitimate compassion?
