Being overworked, tired, and unhappy can actually lead to physical health problems. Fixing it should be your number 1 priority. Quoting: EllenRipley I agree. I'm strong mentally but I'm seeing cracks. I wonder if I went to my doctor could they give me something forcing time off? OMG you never want to do that in this world today! Everything is recorded - forever. You could be denied health insurance in the future because of *pre existing condition*. |

That means you need to get regular physical exercise, make sure you are eating well, taking care of yourself spiritually, reading uplifting books, listening to some humorous comedians to get you laughing more. In short, try to add more positive energy to your day. Distractions that make you smile, laugh, and stay positive. At the same time, get on the job hunt pronto. |

Quoting: EllenRipley I can personally attest to this. Your advice has much more experienced wisdom to it than most people realize. We are all slaves to the money system, but each person must decide at what point your mental health and physical health are as important (or more important) than the money you’re earning. . This op. Forget money and worry about your health if it is deteriorating. You cant take that money with you to your grave. |

Latest cluster is that for the whole year sone of us have been told it's critical we show up work, while others work from home. Have not had a day off since Jan. Was going to use my time off to take most of the month of dec off as it gets real slow. Told today upper management wont allow it. Why, they wont say. Was told they will let me know what days I can take and how much time. They want ne to roll over a huge chunk into next year. I feel like walking out the door. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77699716 Leave, say it was because of COVID, apply for unemployment. Figure out a way to work for yourself. Real estate seems to be picking up. Never work for another person in your life again, it's a slave's game. This is the key. Monetize what you like to do. D@t_Dude2 |
