I won't deny there are factors beyond the purely sociopolitical. But black people were in America decades ago, and, of course, so were white and other people. Yet, the amount of meanness, cruelty and chaos wasn't at such a fever pitch decades ago as they are today.

America in 2020 is a largely way more culturally, politically and economically liberal or leftwing nation today than it was in the 1980s, 1970s, 1950s. Yet it sure as hell isn't a nicer, kinder, more compassionate society. It's merely a more liberal one.

I have been there and I have done that and let me tell you, I was a relatively decent person who dabbled in selfish manipulation that resulted in physical pain on another once (from a slap) and psychological pain a few times.

It is the most excruciating, eviscerating, tearing pain a being will EVER experience. And it will go on for an infinity if you are incapable of forgiving everything - the people you thought wronged you and yourself for the pain you inflicted.

Given that, I implore everyone to hold that information in mind whenever they're poised to make a decision to exact hurt and pain on another human being for any reason.

It honestly scared me...as I couldn't reconcile these seemingly (impossible) realities. And looking back NOW, all these years later, I've noticed that there are people today, that have similar questions.

I have found that there are several layers to the answer: that I've learned to ("grow in knowledge and understanding") in these most very important spiritual truths.

Minority person VIOLENTLY assaults 3 people, it's all recorded on video and they are arrested. Sept. 4th

This is in a very conservative communities when it comes to law enforcement - Miami-Dade.

Do the cops beat him, kill him? No - they peacefully arrest him.

Less than one week later - Sept 10th - he is released on $1500 dollar bond AND assigned a taxpayer funded court appointed lawyer.

He has pleaded not guilty and his hearing is scheduled for Sept 25th. He's got two weeks to plot his defense with his lawyer and also potentially commit more violent acts.

Does that sound like the workings of an unfair, racist system? It's actually the exact opposite. It's unfair to his victims and every other person he may assault in the future.
