Search instead for how fast is a bullet fired mph

1,700 Mph (miles per hour)

Speed of Space Debris
They all travel at speeds up to 17,500 mph, fast enough for a relatively small piece of orbital debris to damage a satellite or a spacecraft.

Wondering how fast does a Bullet travel? The maximum velocity of an average bullet is 760 Mps (metre per second). The bullet speed of 760 Mps is equal to 2493 Fps (feet per second), 2736 Kmh (kilometre per hour) and 1700 Mph (miles per hour).Oct 28, 2017

I think it's obvious that orbital debris traveling

10.3 times faster than a bullet could actually kill an astronaut if he/she is outside the ISS . The next question to ask is how strong are the space suits and the material to withstand the speed of tiny orbital debris since the debris could also be traveling 10.3 times fater than a bullet ! It could be also the size of a bullet !
