CA’s got 40 million people, 5th largest economy in the world, and covers a vast expanse.

Who — exactly — is the one person who’s going to tell “what it’s like living in California now”?

Depends where you are... My area out here, actually went.. Up in home prices...

Because I'm nowhere California... Looked on zillow, redfin.. My house my dad's houses have jumped... Allot..

He's been out here since the late 60s, and he's never once lost on property...

Even in 2008,he bought a house, that lost about 30 grand overnight..

But I just looked at it, he's renting it out... It actually up 60 grand from what he bought it...

So California in allot of areas.. But the cities... is still.. Gold.

California is a shit hole that I cannot wait to get out of. Literally hate this place AND I have been to most states and 5 different continents to boot. CA is hands down the worst place to live right now shirt of... European cities and certain places in Africa... I guess throw venezuela on their too.

Where I live there too many rich fuck NIMBYs. I also live close to that socialist hell hole thats been destroyed by a wonderful lineup of Democratic hacks with the current one going by the name London Breed. Exactly what is a London Breed ? Or what is a Sadik Kahn for that matter. One thing for sure neither is a London bread.

The country of NorCal is still some of the best in the USA but it was just on fire in every corner and there are still some smoking us out . Its only the 4th year in a row that we have had the stress of fires all around us but here we have been lucky......knock on wood. Then there is the power co called PGE a public utility that the public has no control of. Its nice when they turn off your power for 5 days because of their ineptitude and even nicer when they do it three time in one month. Yeah it just peachy.

Still love the natural but everything else has gone to shit. Even local govt where I live is dumping cash on pet projects like rearranging roads with no logic or reason. Things that you see and say WFT is going on here. Bullshit everywhere and I didnt even mention the lockdown bullshit. So yeah California an amazing beautiful state but its run by morans from the local level all the way to the state level. Remember Camala Harris is a fine California politics product. Just watch out for Grease back Newsome. He loves him some Chinese cash.

I evacuated CA last year. Best thing I ever did. I know there are still some amazing places to be in CA, but if you know the history of Newsom, Brown, and Pelosi......yeah, get the fuck out of there.

High home prices just lock people in when a downturn comes.

Home prices are often dictated by BANKS and the appraisers.

When I left Commiefornia and bought a house in another area the appraisers would not appraise high, they were actively keeping the prices down to avoid a bubble.

California was ground fucking zero in the mortgage default crisis and it's ramping up again.

Amazingly beautiful state, many many great people. Beaches mountains desert rainforests, the place has it all. But it's fucking overrun with greedy fucks and pedophiles.
