The 6,600-word memo, written by former Facebook data scientist Sophie Zhang, is filled with concrete examples of heads of government and political parties in Azerbaijan and Honduras using fake accounts or misrepresenting themselves to sway public opinion. In countries including India, Ukraine, Spain, Brazil, Bolivia, and Ecuador, she found evidence of coordinated campaigns of varying sizes to boost or hinder political candidates or outcomes, though she did not always conclude who was behind them. “In the three years I’ve spent at Facebook, I’ve found multiple blatant attempts by foreign national governments to abuse our platform on vast scales to mislead their own citizenry, and caused international news on multiple occasions,” wrote Zhang, who declined to talk to BuzzFeed News. Her LinkedIn profile said she “worked as the data scientist for the Facebook Site Integrity fake engagement team” and dealt with “bots influencing elections and the like.” [link to www.buzzfeednews.com (secure)] Believe Nothing - Question Everything |

Faceberg quickly began censoring any information that linked Antifa to fires in OR/WA...long before any investigation was completed or the cause of the fires identified. I think Mrs. Zhangs diatribe is kind of silly. Like who is she trying to fool? Anyone who is paying attention knows that Faceberg is a data mining and propaganda tool. |

Agreed. In the 2016 election, MSM, social media, etc was stacked against Trump. If you support Trump, the angry mob came at you, demonized you, called you a nazi, racist, sexist. Everything on FB was pro Hillary - all my liberal family and friends posted a constant stream of "orange man bad, gram 'em by the pussy" nonsense. Hek, I didn't even tell my family that I voted for Trump until about a year ago. The 2016 election was so contentious on social media that people who admitted to not voting were attacked and ostracized. As much as the left bullied, screamed, cried to vote for Hillary, to impeach Trump - they did not sway me towards their political stance. I'm not buying this fake argument that social media, FB, etc has an impact on election outcomes. |

On Facebook alone you have an active DARPA AI designed to do just what you said wouldn't impact elections. The AIs only goal is to play interference for one side. Most people still using mainstream social media are normies who don't regularly visit places like this. The problem with most normies is they'll accept what's given to them because it's all they see. Point it out to them and the more curious start digging and see it for themselves. To say it has no impact is naive. |

While you may have the ability to think critically and discern obvious propaganda, surprisingly many people are incredibly gullible and prone to believe whatever they hear repeated often enough. It's a flaw in the democratic process that's been obvious since ancient Athens (just ask Socrates). Garbage in, garbage out when garbage votes.
