User ID: 79306139 United Kingdom 09/23/2020 06:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Weather is looking really iffy. It's nothing but clouds at the moment, but it may start to clear a little bit before dawn. I'm currently targeting a 5 am eastern start time tomorrow morning, which would give us an hour before twilight to see the asteroid approaching earth. I'll make a final determination on the weather situation by around 4 am tomorrow. Thank you for the updates Astromut |

"I have come to the conclusion that all news should be treated like 9/11, assume it is a psyop with actors participating in a staged event complete with props, until proven otherwise, in which case assume whatever is being recorded, reported, televised, is distortions/lying by omission/outright lies, until proven otherwise." - Anonymous, 4-13-12 |

(OP) Senior Forum Moderator 09/23/2020 06:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I’ll try to hook you up at 5 o’clock tomorrow morning. Quoting: oneZeno 79303801 In the mean time, could you explain the multiple impact dates for the 15 or so items on the Sentry page. The 2018 VP1 item has 2 dates the same. How can that be? Slightly different time of day, and it's for 5 years in the future. I haven't run the calculations out that long but I do know that depending on exactly how close it gets on this year's close approach it will have dramatic effects on the orbit in the future. In other words, the region of uncertainty will spread out. My guess is that the region becomes so complex that it contacted Earth at two slightly different points during that day and the computer dutifully noted it as two different impact possibilities. |

Region of Uncertainty. That sounds like a great name for a rock band for our time. I’m just amazed at the wild variation in all the solution calculations for some of the other items listed. Too many sigmas everywhere. Goodhunting. Btw if you get set up, are you going to do VP1 too? |
