Only 15,000 will be made available with no further bars being produced." Hmmm... with no international (heck! domestic) travelers visiting the mint, maybe they're selling online and the serial number is conveniently engraved for tracking purposes should it be intercepted and turn up somewhere else? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78798120 Serial number to imitate the blockchain, so they can track every gold coin minted and not very easy to counterfeit because they can track who had it last and who they sold it to next. Dealers and buyers can check on the internet its history and if they are counterfeit. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79321192 Only 1kg cast bars are available. [link to www.perthmintbullion.com] Noticed it this Friday afternoon, which is leading into a Queen's Birthday public holiday long weekend out in Western Australia. Interesting, the BIG BARS are hard to carry off if you need to leave in a hurry and may be corrupt internally. Lately there have been reports of a heavy metal in the center of LARGE SILVER BARS. |
