Will relate to you my personal experience on the very aftrn of the day you speak of several yrs ago. Was driving into town to go deliver a family their holiday gift basket. Sky was overcast, dove gray color, no rain.

As I was driving, I happen to be on flat stretch of land surrounded by farm acreage so I had a good wide view of the sky. To my dismay, I saw what I can only describe as like a darker shade of gray filter that swept from west to east.

I refer to it as a filter because it was uniform across the entire skyline. Almost like someone was slipping a gel filter across a camera lens to get a different color effect.

I didn't freak out, kept driving but also kept looking to see if rain was gonna' start. No rain whatsoever.

Just my personal experience. Now in reflection, I can interpret it as akin to 'ok, now the Earth will turn dark.' Which of course, it did not in the physical sense.

But well, the yrs since then have been pretty damn dark and progressively gotten darker and here we are.

Will just end by saying what I say to so many folks....my reality is not necessarily YOUR reality.

And am marking my calendar to ensure that I am sitting out in nature w/ a hot toddy in my hand Dec 21st.
