Just wondering how many people are actually working again, full or part time.

Are you back to work?

I'm a machinist and our company laid off 20 workers because we were "nonessential". I live in a small community and will not move to the more populated areas where there is still work as that will soon become a nightmare. And yes many others have moved to find employment but when this mandatory vaccine becomes necessaryverysad to work or to get food, I will already in a better place.....

Dl airlines cut merit pay employees by 25% when the shutdown happened immediately. Salary or hourly got an extra unpaid day off. Its been extended until Jan.

Not many people are flying right now. We went from record profit sharing payouts to part-time employees within weeks of con-vid 19.

Re: Are You Back To Work?
Never stopped, in fact in 29 years I’ve never been laid off or fired. Work ethic matters. So does education. I get six fig job offers from head hunters constantly. Nothing wrong with blue collar work, I come from a family of steamfitters. But if your have the brains go to college instead and pick a major most can’t handle. I’ve been all over this world, and I tell ya I don’t run into too many trades guys on the beach in Bali or on an Alaskan hunt. I set my own hours and priorities. I will not destroy my body like my dad and grandad did. The money is tempting when you’re18 but when you see what it does to you in the long run, trades are not a great career. Plus you have no where to go. No thinking man wants to max out his wage by 25.

I’ve been working this whole time, full time, zero interruptions, aside from 2 weeks in April when I quarantined over what seemed like the flu (sick for maybe 4 days) but my doctor presumed as covid despite no respiratory symptoms. Still got my full pay.

Re: Are You Back To Work?
I probably will never go back to work. I've been on unemployment since March, and have 20 weeks of benefits left.

When that runs out, I'll live on savings for ten months, then formally retire at age 66 and 2 months.

So far that is 10 not working out of 27 who voted. Around 30%. Unemployment.
I believe this does reflect the real numbers.
They won’t tell you that though.
And it will keep getting worse.

My industry is still feeling the effects of closing down. Permitting is done by the city so production remains low.

I voted yes, but you didn't have a choice for always been employed during all this ... I work at Walmart and Hubby at a factory - both essential businesses. In fact, we have hardly seen a shut down around here in the rural areas of NC. Yes, fast food joints and the like were closed but people were in Walmart many times a week as per usual. *shrug*

Re: Are You Back To Work?
Never Stopped-same with my wife and kids. Wife & Daughter are nurses, son is a college student working at Subway and the local grocery store.

Our lives have changed very little other that the stupid stores that order mask mandates. The wife and I have been camping, vacationing, going to restaurants and bars and pressing on.

We aren't going to let a Scam/Plandemic slow us down, we are in the Tristate area of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Wife was on a task-force to track Rona cases at one of the local packing plants...Less than 1% of the postive confirmed cases had any symptoms.

What the world is doing is crazy! I have never seen anything like this in my lifetime. The masks are about making people compliant - I believe that 100%! This is the a HUGE push from the left and the NWO cuz people are woke!

I voted blank because I never stopped.

My as-needed work-from-home privileges turned permanent, as did all my immediate colleagues.

We are software developers in manufacturing.

I don't think we'll ever have to go in again.

They have one network admin, a helpdesk kid and our boss in the office every day, because they like it there. Otherwise, those positions would rotate. Well, just the network guy. Helpdesk kid could be at home, as could boss.

this is truth and this is what i teach my daughters

because they already know they will not be married until they are able to support themselves and their responsibilities, so that's covered

same as my dad, who dropped dead in a factory age 62, told me
