Didn't Jupiter do a circle in 33 years? Jupiter's orbit takes about 11-12 years, Saturn's about 29 years. So Jupiter is bumping Saturn, if you wish. The moment Jupiter overtakes Saturn is the moment of exact conjunction. There will be a conjunction around every 20 years or so, roughly speaking. |
