When this conflict reaches a point to where it threatens Israel's security , then the US will have to commit.

Or simply abandon Israel to fend for itself after angering all the Muslim countries with those recent peace treaties and essentially solidifying the pro-Israel versus pro-Muslim sentiment and creating two opposing factions in the Middle East.
