Ukraine to sign military agreement with Turkey amid fighting in Karabakh

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will arrive today, October 15, on an official visit to Turkey. According to the press service of the Ukrainian government, during the visit, which will last until October 17, Ukraine and Turkey will sign an agreement on military cooperation.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine previously indicated that the agreement would create a legal basis for expanding and deepening Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in the field of defense, as well as “reflect the commitment of the two countries to peace and security in the Black Sea,” reports the Turkish state news agency Anadolu.
