That’s an interesting unsolved mystery, Some human was involved as no possible wild animals were mentioned. The Feliciano guy should have been interrogated by the Police.

They fell and died . Or 1 fell and the other went to help and also fell into a ravine they could not escape .

Flood waters spread their bones around the area as they decomposed .

Doesn't explain the bleached bones or the perfectly sliced off foot in boot that was found. Also, in the video above where the parents retrace the steps, they verified that there was no cliffs anywhere near the trail. Then you have those two really strange pictures of Kris cited in the second video, Her face has taken on a contorted look and she is mo longer smiling like in every other picture. The one picture has her hunched over with her hands behind her back, like she has been zip tied and is on a forced march.

Oh! Poor young women! People don't really believe children and young women, apparently, can be kidnapped and used for nefarious purposes.

There was a LiveLeak video showing these two. Did no one else see that video when it was leaked? It showed what happened to them in the video - one of the girls already appeared dead in the video with her head/hair covered in blood. They were shown in their underwear, their captors were speaking in either Spanish or Portuguese, their hand were tied up, one appeared still alive, but barely conscious. WTH? Am I the only one who saw that video, and is it now deleted from LiveLeak?

No way in hell it was an accident or wild animals.

Some researchers have looked at the one photo that was found on the phone of what appears to be the back of Kris's head. All you see at first glance is just a bunch of hair. But in some enhancements of that photo it you can see the back of her neck just below the skull. There is obvious damage to that area and the way the hair is set in that photo has led many researchers to conclude that what we are looking at is her decapitated head from the rear with the perps holding it up by the hair as a trophy.

Wow. Never saw that one. It would be a major breakthrough if it was authentic.

White liberals are literally clueless about other cultures. 2 twenty year old white liberal girls alone in the jungle with a local guy is never going to turn out well. Not every culture is just like white culture. Surprise.

Seriously, there was a video on LiveLeak. I've just gone to look for it and it is now gone. There were threads about these two missing hikers before, one of which contained the link to the LiveLeak video. I'm going to search through some old GLP threads to see if I can find that thread and the link again. Does no one else recall seeing that video? It showed these two girls, which is why I am surprised to see this thread now as an "unsolved mystery."

If you find it, post it here please as it would be a serious breakthrough for this case.

Very strange, all of the old GLP threads on these two missing girls are gone - I cannot bring up a single one on the advanced search option. So...that is beyond weird, but I doubt that I am the only person here who recalls seeing that liveleak video showing these two girls held by at least two men speaking either Spanish or Portuguese.

There were two photos of Kris that really gave me the creeps:

I feel that the first one actually shows Kris being marched to her place of execution. Zooming in you can see her face is battered and swelled-up and her legs and arms have bruises. This was a probably a trophy photo.

The second one is really strange and that look on Kris's face is unnatural, like she is in shock or extreme fear.

The dry bras in the backpack + the sunglasses in the backpack + the nearly folded shorts on the rock = they went swimming in just their panties in that stream or tried to climb the waterfall.

I think the pics of Kris' head wound actually indicate that Kris is still alive. She is the one who took that pic, to assess her head injury. There is no blood on her hair, which means she rinsed it. I think Lisann - possibly while climbing the waterfall - fell and was unconscious, but Kris refused to leave her, and Lisann being unconscious is why Kris didn't have a 2nd set of eyes and needed to take a pic of her head wound to assess it . Lisann succumbed or never regained consciousness, and Kris realized she needed to hike out for help. I think the plastic bag bits on the stick marks the path back to Lisann and was put there by Kris. In fact, I think she is using the camera pics as a way to document her path back to Lisann, like Hansel's & Gretel's breadcrumbs.

Something took them off the trail, though. I am not sure what, but perhaps Kris was just too disoriented from her head wound to follow it coherently.

At first glance I thought it was a trophy photo taken of the back of Kris' decapitated head, but upon further observation you can clearly see that it is a picture of the right side of her head. You can see the eye and it appears it is open but she is dead:

Clearly the perps were using their camera after they were already dead.

To clarify, generally, and not to you, specifically, I didn't mean still alive today but still alive in that pic. I still think they went in to the stream or up the waterfall in just their panties and one fell. I will take a look at your links. Ty!

Yeah those two photos are really weird, especially the first one: when you zoom in on her face there is an unnatural look and hardly any facial details which leads me to conclude that her face was swollen from a beating or it was photoshopped; in either case it would mean foul play.

That photo is extremely disturbing and literally sent a chill through my body. At first glance I thought it was the back of her head but you are right and it is a side profile of her right side and you can see her eye. It appears that it is open and has a dead look to it. I also see what are two or three small entrance wounds in the right temple. It would appear that the guilty party was trying to clean her up after she was already executed and took this picture in the process.

The two girls wandered off the hike trail.


not being able to find their way back. they decided to try to find a place to sleep the night in the dense rainforest.

one of the girls was using the camera flash as a light source.

the other girl was walking in front of her and had fallen badly. seriously injuring herself.

as the other girl tried to get reception. they didnt know what to do.. the able bodied girl didnt want to go off by herself and leave her injured friend incase she find help quick.. she wouldnt know where to find her.. so she started making signs and breaking twigs. as a marker of identification of the injured friend.

On her way to find help. still using the camera flash as a light source. she didnt see a revene or ditch of some kinda. a big drop around 8-12 feet.

she broke her ankle. and was unable to move anymore.
