If I remember correctly:
Triassic had poser dinosaurs, much bigger than alligators but nothing like the splendid beasts of the Jurassic. The Jurassic was the next time period. Now we have the classic dinosaurs like the brontosaurus (now renamed), stegosaurus and the T-Rex. Then there was a well known extinction event that started the Cretaceous period. Now we have dinosaurs similar to the Jurassic beasts but now they are smaller, like half the size. Compare a Allosaurus to a T-Rex for instance. Then there was the big extinction event caused by India hitting Asia or the Yucatan comet strike, people still argue. This was the one that caused the iridium layer all over the globe. I hope I got that right.

Both secular and creation scientists have to use the same rules of geology when looking at Earth.

What some of them both see is catastrophic geology. And yes that means things like asteroids, mount Toba, Yellowstone, rolling tsunami events, etc.

In this video creation scientists are forced, by the geology, to see and say that Noah's Flood was a lot more than (months of) rain. Their main catalyst is oceanic rifting, which leads them to extended rolling tsunami's.

The problem though, imo, is two-fold. First they've misidentified the catalyst - it wasn't rifting and second, there was no global flood nor were mountains pushed up after or during the tsunami's.

Yes, in NA there were huge rolling tsunami's and yes they were huge enough to reach mountain-tops and as the producers of this video say, the event lasted months - because of a set of events. And other places on Earth suffered through large rolling tsunami's. However the best evidence, imo, for what happened when the shit went sideways is in the Americas.

One thing the creation scientists point out in the video below is that the Chixilub meteor didn't kill off the dinos 66 million years ago. I give them an A for that.

The event that some, including mr Hancock and mr Carlson, say happened 12 thousand years ago is simply wrong and the creation scientists are really wrong on their date - but no surprise there because scripture compresses timelines.

Graham and Randall are onto something but they have overlooked RCD, atmospheric conditions relative to radiation and what we are undergoing with a fluctuating and depleting magnetosphere. To the article itself, they are ascribing too much to gradualism and a theoretical warming model that doesn't bear out in reality (as proven during the COVID lockdowns, where the planet cooled when we stopped producing so many aerosols).

I can guarantee none of their evidence is gradual. This are rapid, large-scale geophysical events.

Dating is always a guess, so no help there but they are certainly looking at evidence of a magnetic reversal and solar mega flare event. They are then taking that data and plugging it into the standard geological model of gradual change, and the warming model postulated by retards of the 20th century.

The Permian Extinction happened about 252 million years ago and was caused by the sudden warming of the planet and release of frozen methane from the oceans. We have that same build up now in the bottom of the oceans that could be released suddenly and then see the same thing happen again. There is no "geological time column" and thus NO WAY to date dinosaurs (some found with red blood cells and bone marrow STILL RED in their bones) to anything like 1 million years, let alone 223 million.

Most dino bonebeds worldwide are found in sedimentary deposits. In the video I posted above the 'experts' say that the dinos were caught in flash-floods - that huge herds were consumed trying to cross rivers.

One has to ask themselves what would cause the animals/reptiles to panic and stampede a river basin?

Even today people are caught unaware of a flash-flood until it's too late. If the ocean floor opened or shifted (rifted - which I discount as a hypothesis) causing a large tsunami that event may not have been felt 500 miles or more inland - meaning there would be no reason for alarm or stampede.

More likely something startled them....but what??
