If that's true, then why did Jesus tell 6 of the 7 churches they must repent in Revelation? These weren't unbelievers. They were His church. Yom Kippur is one of God's "Appointed Times", a day of repentance and seeking God's face. God's Word says if we are walking in the Light, that day will not "overtake us as a thief". Could it be because God's children know the importance of His Appointed Feast Days and knows He will fulfil them on the exact day just as He did when Jesus fulfilled the Spring Feasts? I am not predicting any fulfillment on this day, just watching. Jesus commands us to watch. All I am doing is pointing out that this evening to tomorrow evening is an important day to our Savior and Creator. If anything strange happens, you will know it wasn't just a random day. And, YES, we must still repent for our sins once we are saved because we continue to sin even after we are saved. Repentance is KEY!
