Wow, science finally admitting what has been known all along, Sumerians and Akkadians sailed via the Mediterranean to the British Isles, traded and colonized.

And still they mis-characterize the fertile crescent as 'stone age' 4,000 years ago. SMH Most scientists are morons.

Remember, the Celtic languages, including Gaelic and Cumric (Welsh) originate in the Middle East, particularly Afghanistan where they speak a form of Persian.

We are descendents of peoples who traversed this world before settling and making our current civilisation.

Interesting theory I read is that the real 12 tribes of I s real went north over the Caucus mountains and populated Europe. Thus Caucasians.

That would fall in line with Irish DNA being from the middle east.

"Genome analysis shows mass migration of Stone Age farmers from Fertile Crescent and Bronze Age settlers from eastern Europe was foundation of Celtic population"

Eastern Europe
Not Persia/Parthia, not Akkadia, not Afghanistan... not Northern people - Vikings.
...
The right answer:
Cucuteni_Trypillia culture - neither Middle East, nor Asian lands.

"Cucuteni Culture is the oldest known European civilization and at the same time one of the oldest civilizations of all time. Although it dates from 5500-3500 BC, preceding the Sumer (3500-2200 BC) and Ancient Egypt (3400 BC-300 AD) civilizations, Cucuteni Culture doesn’t boast such an impressive resume, due to political and financial reasons."

This is the type of thread that will lead to nothing, because science, specifically DNA science is utterly corrupt and largely used to push critical race theory and other dubious political motives.

If someone is interested to learn about the origins of the Irish people. They would be best served reading historical accounts written Pre-WWII and working backward.

The desire to head north though, to just leave, nearly drove me mental a while back.

incorrect. scotland, wales and ireland all defended their borders and lands ferociously. so much so the romans built a wall, 2 walls in fact. there was also a dyke (a trench 65 feet wide and 8 feet high) built between wales and england and although the romans did visit ireland they didnt stick around for long... england was the melting pot.
