Live now: Radical Personal Finance, analyzing the NYT expose of President Trump's tax returns
I often listen to Joshua Sheats on his podcast, Radical Personal Finance, it's very good and covers a lot of ground.

He has recently started doing some live presentations on youtube and right now he's doing an analysis of President Trump's tax situation, from his very knowledgeable position as a certified finacial planner and whatever all these letters mean after his name, MSFS, CFP, CLU, ChFC, CASL, CAP, RHU, REBC.

I'm pretty sure you should go back to the beginning rather than dive in in the middle:

Funny comments. He's just talking in general about taxes and finance, using the example of this controversy to lead off the discussion.

Thanks to whoever gave Joshua five stars.

In general Joshua Sheats' podcast, Radical Personal Finance, is about how to manage money to increase personal freedom.

He's using this current flap over President Trump's tax return, in the New York Times, to illustrate points about how real estate can be owned, improved and sold as a way to generate tax free income.

I'm sure this trump slurping tardsplanation will negate all the press trump has gotten.

Hell all Trump has to do is put up his tax returns like the last Presidents have going back 40+ years.
I wonder how much ppp money trump stole from taxpayers this year.

Gotta love these absurd comments. Financial nuance and tax expertise on display here in this thread! Keep going guys, you're almost there!

Joshua Sheats' podcast Radical Personal Finance is very educational.

Plus he has a different take on things which is refreshing. He's not stuck in some rote idea of work, save, invest, retire, die.

I listen to his podcast on Castbox app on my phone on the headphones while I'm working. He has a nice voice and a dependable delivery.

All I want to see is the IRS employee who leaked these returns to the NYT put in handcuffs and hauled away. That's a serious crime

Here's a simple explanation by a tax expert for the doofus:

This and much more:

This has always been this way since America has had income taxes. There is endless court precedent. You pay what you legally owe. That’s it. If you pay less than you legally owe, then the government will fine or imprison you. If you pay more than you legal owe, the government will laugh and laugh, because you are an idiot, and you deserve to be poor.

Google fiber has delinquent property tax all over my city

Amazon doesn’t really pay taxes

The fed makes people lose money by constantly conjuring money to save banks from failing that should fail

The Clinton foundation donations were all tax deductions to multiple companies and individuals

Meanwhile we are spose to care that Trump minimizes his taxes by paying accountants money

Guess what? Alot of people and corporations are not paying taxes they should or dodging taxes through fancy art, horse racing, and casinos. The FBI does not enforce the laws so why should we care? Hunter Biden even has a current IRS lien on him if Hannity is to be believed

It befuddles me how so many are ignorant to the way the tax codes work in the US.

The poster I'm quoting is just one such example.

They simply just don't understand that earning more and paying less is a formula to success.

"Sure, you can have all of my income in the form of tax."

Said no one ever.

The above poster is just another low iq turd bird from the tds patrol
