Saying this is pretty much nonsense. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79338239 If you want an entertaining response I will give you one though. you could always find an old car dealership with some pop the clutch cars and drive one to a gas station in the woods with a buddy trade it in for gas and be on your way. Gas lasts at least 3-6 months if kept airtight. It’s supposed to be used to bugout from your house. Assuming you have a bugout plan. Or you can just rot in the city when society breaks down. That’s works too. |

How are you gonna carry all those supplies with no gas in your car? And you know damn well your neighbor ain’t gonna share a drop with you. Quoting: CopyNinja87 Can’t store regular unleaded very long, the mixture breaks down and water droplets develop. Diesel can be stored much longer. 5 gallon cans can last a year if you shake and vent them regularly. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46960637 The more gas in stores the longer it takes for it to go bad I know this for a fact. A 55 gallon drum will last a lot longer than a five gallon drum You can add custom made chemicals to gas and make it last longer also. |

Everything will close. Anyone driving after gas stations have been closed for a couple weeks or months will be an INSTANT TARGET for Mad Max marauders. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73626298 You’re supposed to drive right before or right after. Not weeks later. But I’m sure staying in the cities with a house full of lootable goods won’t make you an instant target either. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79417164 This 100 gallons = 20 containers Cycle through them every few months. When your car gets empty, fill with 3-4 gas cans that were filled the longest ago, then take them to the gas station and fill and re-label with newest date. You will always have 100 gallons of fresh gas. and it only costs $120 to store. |

You just have to rotate your gas storage every 3 months. If you fill them up with ethanol free gas using the Pure Gas app, and then add 4 ounces of fuel stabilizer per every 10 gallons, your gas will last even longer. |
