This is the code. LUCIFER is the PARAKLETOS.
Richard Distasi: "...the redeemed Lucifer now acts as the intermediary Holy Spirit to the Bodhisattvas. Steiner had also stated that Lucifer is the Holy Spirit among humanity. He is the intermediary, the intercessor between our inner Self and the Christ Being. The Holy Spirit works as a reflection of the Christ Impulse which then enters our soul and Ego. At this stage in our development, without the Holy Spirit one's soul and Ego would be overwhelmed by the Christ Impulse. Without the intercession of the Holy Spirit our individuated consciousness would be subjugated by the Christ Impulse. That which streams to us from Christ comes to us through the Holy Spirit; thereby we retain our self-consciousness. For the Bodhisattvas, there too, Lucifer acts as an intermediary. The future evolutionary Impulses for humanity and the Earth flow from Christ and then pass through Lucifer as the Holy Spirit to the Bodhisattvas who are the 'Teachers' of humanity. In this manner both Christ and Lucifer act in conjunction with one another and thereby are conjoined as One."

The Devil is always tempting and trying each individual soul. We must all overcome the dark side. Even Jesus Christ was tempted and tested directly by the Devil. But, the Devil is not the Holy Spirit, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Re: This is the code. LUCIFER is the PARAKLETOS.
11. LUCIFER, THE LIBERATOR

Gnostic myths relate that Lucifer is the Messenger of the Unknowable God. We had said that this God, the greatest one, unreachable and unknowable, is unable to penetrate this limited universe of impure and satanic matter. But according to these myths, he can send someone, Lucifer. Only with a supreme sacrifice can an incredibly Spiritual and pure being of antimatter fire break through into the infernal world of this universe. According to Gnostic legends and myths, the great Unknowable God sent Lucifer, angel of indescribable fire and light, to show man the light and to help him wake up and see his true origin, the origin of his Spirit, which has been perversely imprisoned in this impure matter called body-soul. He is an uncreated being, who came to the created world to bring Light: Liberating Gnosis. The saving knowledge which can wake man up and help him free his imprisoned Spirit. The knowledge which allows him to know who he truly is, why he is here in this world and what he has to do to liberate himself and fulfil his Spirit, which belongs to another uncreated and unknowable plane.

We have said that Lucifer came to the world to wake man up, to help him remember his divine origin, the divine origin of his Spirit, and to help him free himself from the body-soul in which he is trapped, and from created time and matter.

Gnostics consider that the biblical myth of creation can be explained as follows: the creator satan of the world trapped Adam and Eve in his miserable world, and Lucifer, in the form of a serpent, offered them the forbidden fruit of saving Gnosis, and showed them that the creator was deceiving them. In other words, the creator said to man "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." On the other hand, the Serpent said "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." The bible continued: "And the eyes of both of them were opened". It doesn't say "they both died", it says "the eyes of both of them were opened", like the Serpent had said. Later, the creator says "And now man has become as one of us, to know good and evil". The creator lied. He said that man would die if he ate the fruit, but man did not die. The Serpent was telling the truth. The creator himself ended up agreeing that the Serpent was right. More precisely, Gnostics called the demiurge a liar as well as a plagiarizer. For them, the entire creation is a failed attempt by the demiurge to imitate the unknowable world. In this way, they think that the bible itself is a complete plagiarism, based principally on pre-biblical Babylonian and Egyptian texts.

Gnostics believe that this Serpent Lucifer is the liberator of man and the world. It is wisdom, the liberating Gnosis that wakes man up and saves him. Of course, this Messenger of the Unknowable God, Lucifer, is an opponent and an enemy of the creator of the world.

Gnosis states that the creator wants to keep man captive in this limited, inferior and impure sphere. He also forbade man contact with the higher world, represented in the biblical myth by the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. But Lucifer, the Angel of Light, made a great sacrifice and descended into this satanic hell to give the forbidden fruit of Gnosis to man, and opened his eyes so that he would be able to remember his divine origin and his superiority in relation to the creator. Gnostics consider that before the arrival of the Serpent in paradise, man was in a state of ignorance and was blind to his true situation. They maintain that Adam and Eve were in a state of servitude until the Serpent Lucifer opened their eyes and fed them the fruit of knowledge, which made them remember their divine origin and become aware of the situation in which they found themselves.

Of course, the creator threw Adam and Eve out of this paradise in which he had placed them since he wanted them (and still does) to reflect him and be similar to him after his image and resemblance, and to carry out his precepts so as to be like him and not like the Unknowable God. He wants the Spirit to stay asleep so he can take advantage of Its energy, preventing It from manifesting Itself in man and the world.

Lucifer, liberator of man and the world, has also been called Abaddon, the Exterminator. But.exterminator of what? Exterminator of matter, because he abhors this created world of matter and time. He would behave like a hostile antimatter force, extremely aggressive, because he hates all that has been created as he also hates the body and soul of man, since he belongs to the uncreated plane of the unknowable. He is an exterminator, but an exterminator of matter, of the impure. Such is the Gnostic legend of Lucifer.

Now we can go on to describe what uncreated entities exist in this created world.

Firstly, the Unknowable God, who is not in this world but who can infiltrate it with a tiny particle of Himself, a Messenger. This Messenger is also uncreated, not having been created by the creator.

Secondly, the imprisoned Spirits of men, which also belong to the unknowable World of the uncreated and the eternal. According to Gnosis all living beings have an uncreated Spiritual element enchained in their souls: the Spirit. The Spirit locked within man is totally superior to that of animals, plants and other living beings. The difference between man and the other living beings is very great, as is the difference between the Spirits imprisoned inside of them. The Spirits of human beings are in an elevated Spiritual category.

Thirdly, another uncreated entity placed on this created plane is the saving and divine knowledge of Gnosis. Knowledge that has come from outside, which has not been produced inside of this world.

The Kundalini IS The Holy Spirit (What Your Pastor Refuses To Tell You)

Have you ever wondered why Moses had to “lift up” the bronze snake in the wilderness in order for the Israelites to be healed? This is perhaps one of the most puzzling scriptures in the entire Bible. Pastors and Bible study teachers alike have been stumped as to why it is there, and it seems that traditional Christianity has no proper explanation. Is there one? Yes, but the answer lies beyond the literal interpretation, and it contains a wonderful spiritual truth!

The scene unfolds for us as the Israelites journeyed to Edom by way of the Red Sea. Without access to food or water, they complained against God and Moses. The Lord became angry with the people and sent fiery serpents to bite them. The Israelites began to pray for God to take the serpents away. God then gives Moses the remedy:

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole…” (Numbers 21:8-9).

This entire scene begs the questions:

1) If the serpent is traditionally supposed to represent Satan in the Bible, then why would God tell Moses to lift it up and then heal all the people who looked on it?

2) Why would God tell Moses to cast the bronze serpent in the first place since it is clearly and idol and God said:

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath…” (Exodus 20:4).

This is just another instance where the literal interpretation poses contradictory ideas, and it is scriptures like these that demand we look beneath the surface to find out what treasures the Biblical authors hid beneath the surface of the text.

Let’s review a small portion in the story of Adam and Eve to help us grasp the full implications of God’s command to Moses about the brazen serpent.

There have already been several discussions on this site dedicated to showing that the serpent represents man’s ego, not a literal being named Satan. Therefore Adam’s fall represents the activation of the ego. Now remember how God cursed the snake so that it would crawl on its belly and eat dust all the days of its life? That scene becomes important for Moses’ actions later. Briefly consider the two points below:

1) The snake was originally upright.

2) It was cursed to eat dust.

Symbolically this imagery teaches us that the ego is responsible for keeping us grounded in the realm of the fives senses, or the physical realm. The Bible states we are made from the dust of the ground, and that is the reason the snake is cursed to eat the dust of it. As long as our lives are ruled by the ego, we are symbolically eating this dust.

Now let’s return to Moses and the brass serpent. Why would God have him do such a thing? When the Israelites were complaining in the desert, they weren’t relying on faith. They were relying on their egos which only trust in the physical senses. It appeared that they would die of starvation and thirst. Numbers 21: 4 states that “…the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.” This entire scene illustrates the condition of the soul in the dessert (physical life). The soul in “the way” simply means the soul that travels from Egypt (bondage of the ego) to the Promised Land (a heavenly awakening from this bondage). In other words, the Israelites’ travels represent the individual who is on a spiritual journey to shed the ego and experience the Promised Land (spiritual resurrection). The Biblical author gives us the imagery of Israelites being cursed and bitten by snakes because they were operating in the ego to get them through the desert of life.

So God gives Moses a symbolic representation of what would heal them. That symbol is the brazen snake on the pole lifted up! In the story of Adam and Eve, the snake was cast down, but as we’ll see in a moment, it must be lifted up (symbolically transforming the ego) to restore the spiritual aspect of man’s soul.

Large portions of scripture are metaphors for the holy temple which is your human body and brain. This scripture is no exception. If you stood a snake in the upright position, it would resemble the spinal cord which extends up the back; the head of the snake would resemble the pineal gland (understood by the ancients as a spiritual organ) at the bottom center of the brain. (More information on the Bible and the pineal gland here).

In deep meditation practices, spiritual energy (kundalini, Holy Spirit) rises through the spinal column and proceeds to open the seven chakras (seven churches of revelations) along the spine until it reaches the pineal gland, symbolizing a spiritually-resurrected individual. This process can also be seen as the serpent that becomes transformed from the ego into the fully realized and awakened spiritual being (the shedding of the ego). Such an experience raises the conscious awareness of an individual beyond the senses. This is a real experience that ancient spiritual peoples—even the earliest Christians—were aware of.

This entire process is also why Jesus made the following statement:

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up…” ( John 3:14).

Remember, the kingdom of God is not outside of you, but it is “within.” (Luke 17:21).

“Lifting up the Son of Man” is another way of symbolizing the path to Christ consciousness, a state of BEING beyond the senses, emotions, and intellect.

How this knowledge can help you…

The Christ nature within us must be exalted in order to realize the spiritual resurrection! This is an actual experience that takes commitment and faith. Many Christians will argue that all these concepts are New Age teachings. But what many Christians don’t realize is that New Age concepts aren’t new at all. In fact, they have been around tens of thousands of years, and many of the same concepts are taught through both the Old and New Testaments. I advise you to study deeply the Biblical passages that seem to contradict the traditional Christian interpretation. They can’t be argued away and don’t be afraid to question their purpose. This is the beginning of your search to a higher understanding of the soul contained within the scriptures.

Oh well, I'll explain it again. Lucifer is a title not a particular person/entity, just like Buddha it is a title of the elightened one. Originally it was Kagan, because Lucifer is merely a Greek translation of Kagan, as kagan was an iron basket for holding burning pieces of wood. If you look at ancient depictions of kings, you'll see in many cases they wear a kind of a basket on their heads, that's the "kagan".

Nonsense! The brass serpent represented the sin that Jesus would deliver humans from when He died on the cross!

It was symbolic of the atonement. "Sin" (the serpent) was crucified on the cross...that is why Christians are told they are "dead in Christ." The raising of the serpent/staff was a foreshadowing of Jesus's death on the cross. Along with Jesus's death on the cross, Christians share in the life of Christ...when He was resurrected...Christians were resurrected along with Jesus.
