Do you get involved, and have the cat neutered yourself? Why not ask the neighbor if you can help him get kitty to the humane society for a reduced cost, or free neuter clinic. It will keep kitty from being so aggressive, and less likely to be hit by a car, or killed in kitty combat. (feral cat colony managing eperience, here, and I don't wanna get involved in any of that again!) :DOCSRBAFFLED::redblueLED::DONTBEAPANDEMICS: Only you can stop the fake pandemic for yourself, no one will ever tell you the pandemic is over. And the cat needs to be kept inside after neutering to heal. They just can’t be released. Keeping them inside when they are use to being outside and spraying is not easy. They will spray inside your house. |

Do you get involved, and have the cat neutered yourself? I would. I have a live animal trap. I'd bait it (if the cat can't be caught up otherwise) and take it to an appointment at our low cost vet clinic. Neutering a male cat is absolutely no big deal. Should be so inexpensive you won't even notice it in your checkbook. And I would bring kitty home and never breathe a word of it to anyone. Win, win, win. Because who wants a kitty who sprays coming around? Not I!! |

You have to come get them right away and keep them indoors while healing. |

Do you get involved, and have the cat neutered yourself? No. Live trap it as it trespasses unleashed on your own yard. (Most places have equal leash laws for cats and dogs.) Middle of night drive trespasser to nearest VERY large city and set it free. Store trap in basement where no one ever sees it. Until you need it again. |

They will spray inside your house. No, it doesn't. Cats can heal like nobody's business. Our local feral cat got his leg torn open about a month ago escaping from a coyote. We couldn't catch him, we couldn't treat him. He'll let us feed him, put wormer in his food, but that's about it. Probably because we trapped him and got him neutered when he was younger and dumber. Anyway, it was amazing to watch that cat's leg heal. We tried to spray him with an antibiotic spray but could not and then he wouldn't let us within 10 feet of him. He healed great. No help from us, except making sure his nutrition was excellent and he refused all the yummy food with the antibiotic. We are happy. We have a lot of respect and affection for him, but he sure isn't a pet. |
