The two were tested following news that an unnamed member of his office had tested positive for the virus. Pence said that “neither the president or I had direct contact” with the staffer, who he said was “doing well” with “mild cold like symptoms.” Pence’s press secretary, Katie Miller, previously confirmed that the individual had no “close contact” with President Trump

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have it. Trump tested negative the day before he tested positive. It takes a couple of days after you are infected to produce enough virus to yield a positive result.

I think maybe we'll see just how contagious it really is.

My house full of kids got hit with our first sniffle/sore throat in 6 months.

That was a week ago, and no sore throats in the others.

We're crossing our fingers it was allergies - everyone is back to perfect health - and moving on.

I think a lot of others do the same.

I think it's people's inclination to minimize sniffles and such ... unless they have an agenda like getting time off from work or blaming someone.

Somehow our school is still open while neighboring schools have closed for COVID already ... I think it's the general inclination of both our parents and our teachers to look away on this one unless its unavoidable.

There's no way every one of those kids is fever free all day ... I think the teachers checking don't want to shut it down, so there are risks being taken.

Same with .gov

I don't think there's really anything wrong with it either. We've kept the old folks isolated.
