GLP, RED ALERT.. Seriously has anyone else received a printed Newspaper from Epoch Times

Just like google, facebook, twitter, etc which send unsolicited advertising and messages to your email address, soo do algorithms search out likely candidates for information via your home address. The Epoch Times is an excellent source of information unafraid to post whatever they think is relevant. Subscribe.

My father-in-law received one about the time he died (four years ago). I looked at it, it seemed like a typical conspiracy theory publisher. I don't know how they got his name and address, but he was really bad about clicking links on-line.

I didn't see anything bad about the paper, but I didn't really read anything but the headlines.

Yes, I began receiving this newspaper back in either June or July. I had visited their website, but never signed up for anything, so I didn't connect it to that at the time. I had also gone to a Trump rally, having signed up for tickets online (free) beforehand. I figured my name and address may have been picked up from that, as I have seen in the past where Trump has retweeted an article from the Epoch Times. Anyway, I actually kind of like the newspaper, so I haven't minded receiving it. Are you sure it is owned and operated by Falun Gong? I'll have to do some looking into this, thanks.

The Epoch Times was started by Falun Gong practitioners but it is not per se "owned" by Falun Gong. It is an excellent paper with real journalism not the Marxist propaganda and identity politics puff pieces one gets from Canada's state broadcaster CBC who did a hit piece on the paper they then had to retract and apologize for.

They used to distribute widely in free newspaper boxes but changed into a subscription only paper over the past year or so and the random free mail outs were part of a strategy to increase subscriptions. I subscribe and really look forward to getting my copy every week for that good old fashion newspaper experience. It's not just politics by any means but also has sections for travel, art & architecture, recipes, puzzles and alternative medicine articles.

I just received a sample edition paper today delivered in the mail. I have seen some of their articles and follow them on Par-led. Never subscribed.

Falun Gong are imprisoned and executed by the CCP regularly for basically meeting up and doing yoga and repeating positive mantras. A little kooky? Maybe. But I'll take them over the CCP any day.
