If you aren't part of the Re:20:4 resurrection you will be part of the Re:20:5 resurrection. For all other flesh there has yo be some pastures ready as they have to eat to remain alive. That is way above our current abilities as 25,000 25,000 of His children die of hunger each and every day.
If God was involved the children would live and the old people would be increased by that same number.

That being said the 3 1/2 years that unfold before the return is a time when sincere prayers for protection will be acted on by God as a live witness tells a better story than one who went to the grave.

De:4:29-31:
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God,
thou shalt find him,
