He could of done better. He dodged questions and used time to revert back to a topic. Yet appreciated that he was respectful, thanking Harris and Biden.

I didn’t appreciate Harris’s laugh and demeanor. Very lawyer like. She could have done better on that front. It seems she’s stumbled a bit to. Yet held her own as well.

Yet appreciated that both candidates didn’t get personal or do deep digs. They kept it professional. Which should of been last week’s debate. Then again, after last week’s debate they were held to a higher standard no doubt.

Pence did great I was impressed. But the kicker is she did so bad there is no way they can win if there is a change she will become president.

Pence was smooth and cool. The thing I noticed is the moderator attempted to control the debate by cutting him off when he was just getting to the meat of his point. He did not allow her to do that. He continued until he was done making his point.

BASICALLY:

Harris was long on blame, short on solutions. She was also caught in some pretty obvious lies.

Pence scored high on hammering Trump's accomplishments and
Harris / Biden's radicalism. Extra points for a consistently positive vibe.

OUTCOME: A clear Pence win.

I said earlier this week that he has a weird cadence to his speech but I expected him to do well. Anyone who watched him as governor of Indiana would have expected that.

That last freelance question from the eighth grader - Pence gave such a dignified answer, directed solely at her, about how Americans can differ in opinion, debate it passionately and be friends at the end of the day.
