That lost it for McCain, the thought that we were a single McCain heartbeat away from President Palin. Whether or not you liked Palin, that was the dumbest VP choice in history. McCain’s huge advantage over Obama was experience and he shat that away by picking Palin. As the economy was THE issue back then, had he picked a solid economist as VP, he would have beaten Obama in a landslide.

Trump was smart to pick Pence, since Pence comforts the neocon base.

But Harris was a very poor choice, since Biden was going to get 150% of the Black vote anyway ... to Trump’s 10%. But Kameltoe will scare off the same white blue collar Rust Belt vote that won it for Trump in 2016.

Only people who think Kameltoe didn’t shit the bed last night are those who simply agree with her Leftist ideology and irrationally hate Trump-Pence. For any rational undecided voters left, that was a huge blow against Biden’s chances.

Also, Pence’s calm and dignified demeanor helps offset the concern people have about Trump being out of control and childish. They can play the good cop-bad cop game.
