About Pelosi: How does the election change or not change her status as Speaker?
I'm curious, does her Speakership just roll over to her, if she wins?....or does the House vote for a Speaker each session?

The later would make more sense....but she's so power hungry, I'm not sure what she's slipped through in Bills.

And while I'd love for the people of her district to vote her out, I doubt that's going to happen.....but it is what I want. It's what a lot of Americans want.

We want this cunt out of office......GONE!

First, the democrats have to hold the House. The Speaker of the House is the leader of the majority party in the House.

Assuming the dems keep the House, then the Speaker is nominated and voted upon by that party. Unless the speaker has screwed up so the party no longer supports her/him, or they just doesn't want to job again, it's likely that Pelosi would again be the speaker in the House when the new Congress is installed come January.

I wish I could vote her out, but not in my voting district. I am working on voting Dianne Feinstein out. Written to her so many times, that not even her underlings will respond LOL

I live in New Mexico. I also simply had a question I needed answered.

If the public at large were allowed to vote for who the Speaker is....now THAT would be sweet!
