Does Aya ever answer questions about the others/ancestral people thousands of years ago?

I took five cups when all the others took one. It was with a Shaman at night time. Yes, I purged from both ends.

Ask me a question..

I don't recommend taking DMT in Cusco...they simply want your money and don't prepare you properly. If you observe (like we did) the proper diet for at least 2 days prior to ingesting Ayahuasca, you won't "purge". While the offices of the group we went with were located in Cusco, the retreat was miles away. None of our group threw-up or shit themselves.

The dieta has nothing to do with purging. I have had more than 70 nights of ceremony in the past 11 years (four of my friends are shamans who lead ceremonies) and I probably purge at least half the time. I follow the dieta for 2 weeks before ceremony - no white sugar, coffee, meat, spicy foods, bread. I have had ceremonies that were physically pleasant, only to spend an hour or so purging hours or a day after ceremony. I have been in ceremonies where everyone purged and others where none of the 150 plus participants purged that night.

There are some great healers in Peru - and some who just want your money.

Ayahuasca is considered an anti-parasite among soem groups in South America. As uncomfortable as purging can be, I ALWAYS feel better and am grateful for eliminating whatever toxin/dark energy was stored in my body.

I drank in Peru only once, with a Swiss man who studied to be an ayahuascero for 11 years before I met him. Six weeks before the ceremony, I was a victim in a violent home invasion. My husband was shot with a .38 (8 1/2 inches from entry on arm to exit on his back, but the bullet didn't hit a nerve, bone or artery, thank God) and I was strangled three times, pistol whipped and beaten. I had already booked the flight to Peru before the home invasion.

Five days before the ceremony, I couldn't eat or drink water. The only thing I could stomach was coca tea. I coudln't eta a bite of rice. I had no body fat by the time I went to the ceremony, but I had tons of energy. I did 2 hours of yoga, hiked Machu Piccho twice. I was probably 115 lbs and I am 5'6'. I thought I was going to die from the purging. Not to be gross, but I went through two full buckets and out the other end, even though I had no eaten in five days. I fainted in the bathroom. I begged the medicine to stop the purging. She told me that we store trauma in our fat cells and she had to make sure I had no fat so she could do her work. She said I would never have a flashback. I still fought it in ceremony, but 12 hours later, I felt better than I had in years. 11 years later, I have never had a flashback, fear or PTSD from the violent incident.

Thanks for sharing that incredible story. The plant medicine did more for you on that day than psychiatry could have done in years. Is your husband ok too?

No, he wanted to hold onto revenge. We went on different paths and split ten years ago. He had severe PTSD coupled with his own issues. He started drinking excessively and it was like demons attached to his soul. He went to seven ayahuasca ceremonies (three prior to the incident, four after), but the alcohol coupled with a crappy astrological makeup and narcissism issues didn't jive wit the plant medicine.

I partook in a ceremony in Cusco, fasted for one day on soup with the second day only a small amount of water. I vomited and went to the toilet regularly.

A majical experience - it changed my life. I travelled to a place where every one is in a group, we are al sparkles and we live in a space of nothing but bliss. Total bliss. It is there and from that ‘mindset’ that we agree to visit Earth and live out these challenges, decisions and opportunities. If you ever get a change make sure you do it right, take your time, empty yourself and prepare. Life changing for sure.

Were you contacted by "spiritual beings" during the course of your trip?

I was inside of a building, that was situated on the side of a mountain in Cusco. I sat in a room that had a wall of glass that went out to a verandah and washroom/toilet.

During the ceremony the Shaman had a single helper, however I experienced at least three others with him. He was singing and ruslting some leaves for 8-12 hours. The house on the side of the hill trasnformed into a ‘cave’ on the side of a mountain. It was surreal.

The experience was a mix of me sitting in a cave with the Sharman and his helpers and then I would leave my body. When I was out of my body it was bliss and fast moving. When I was in the ‘cave’ it was slow and I felt groggy relaxed and sober. When I came back to the cave it was a jolt of reality. The trip was amazing. If I was to summarise what I took from it in one sentance it would be this.

We have chosen to be here on Earth, we chose our challenges and experiences. Those individuals that provide a greatest learning (parents/lovers/friends/murderer/criminals) are doing the same thing and are actually helping us to experience this life. We are all one and we are here to experience ourselves. There is no evil there is just challenges and decisions.
