Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75299137 even if the moderator is left biased, trump should be able to present his platform regardless if trump's policies and messaging is on point, it does not matter who is the moderator or what way they lean he just has to answer the questions and present his ideas for 2024, if he succeeds at that and abides by the debate rules, what does it matter if the moderator is "out to get him" he should be smart enough and diplomatic enough to deal with biased media and their tactics since he has dealt with it for 4 years he should be a master tactician of dealing with left biased media at this point nad not be afraid of them Yes, he should be able to present his platform, but that is not what happened due to the useless moderator in the last debate. A moderator should be neutral, and not favor one candidate over the other, etc. That is not what happened, obviously. Trump broke the debate rules because the 'moderator' broke the debate rules. and contunied to do so for the duration of the proceeding. He is also not afraid of the left-leaning MSM and their cronies. He just wants to kick their asses. the moderator also has to tell the two debaters to stop talking when their time is up most of what wallace did was that, try and tell trump to not talk when he was not allowed to talk there were moments where it seemed wallace favored biden slightly but overall the debate was a trianwreck because trump wouldn't abide to not talk when it was not his time to talk, biden interrupted at times as well... same with harris and pence, the moderator had to tell them both to stop talking when they went over their time almost every presidential debate in history, both candidates abuse the 2 minute rule, talk over the other person and ask for more time when they squander it not answering the question they were asked the mods have ot try and rangle adult children as they all try and go over their time and disregard the rules every debate they say "the moderator had no control over the candidates" because you can't get them to shut up when you ask them repeatedly to stop talking over their time Yes, the debate was a trainwreck because the 'moderator' chose to debate Trump as well as steering Biden when he went off-track, helping him to 'remember' the question he was supposed to be answering. As for talking over time/out of turn, how about some automatic mic cutoff switches? It seems that could eliminate a lot of issues. I agree... automatic cut off switches should be a given and if the debate was 2 on 1... so what... if trump's policies and points are solid he should have no problem debating two people, he should be the master negotiator he says he is and be able to deal with two hostile threats at the same time and still get his message out |

However, everyone on the left in today's America is increasingly a flaming one. So it's possible that Mike Wallace wasn't even as much an ultra-liberal as Chris is. It's possible the father would have had enough sense of the boundaries of reason, honor and integrity to not stretch and rip them to shreds. For instance, a bit more honesty and ethics were followed by even the media decades ago. It's possible Mike Wallace wouldn't have busted up the parameters of a sane, humane America as today's liberals like Chris are doing. |
