Anonymous Coward User ID: 76667758 Canada 10/10/2020 08:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | each debater submits a short list of chosen moderators eg. 3 to 4 names (know people that a background check etc can be done on). the other debater choses the person they prefer to moderate. if there are 4 debates, each debater has 2 of their chosen moderators moderate on 2 nights. lastly to really keep things fair, throw in a hat each list of matchups and then each debater selects at random the night of their chosen moderator. thus it could be night 1 and 2, or 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 etc., for debater 1 and the remaining nights for debater 2. before each debate: debaters are checked over by a doctor, eg. no drugs, no hearing or visual aids that they do not normally need.. they are scanned and checked for wires and devices electronically.. they are patted down for devices and potential explosives or other toxic agents. |
