Honestly the biggest reason I believe is because all the snot nosed kids were at home and not spreading the flu. Children are the super spreaders in the govt controlled indoctrination centers (ie. schools)

Yeah, in March I was all for flattening the curve so the hospitals would not get overwhelmed. What did they do? Not use the Mercy ship as a covid center, made sure that every hospital had "Covid patients", and shut down most medical care for 3 months.

Independent restaurants where destroyed while the Mcdonalds and Dominoes made bank. Bars and Barbers shut, Bowling alleys closed. Children losing months and months of education, drive-by birthdays, people at the windows of nursing homes to visit their loved ones. What about the people not on the first floor? Total isolation, fucking disgusting.

The only nice part has been seeing clear skies not cross hatched with jet exhaust for the first time since the few days following the Twin Tower attacks on 9-11.

Yeah, well, not on Long Island, I spend a considerable amount of time in my garden several days a week, and I always look at the sky, the skies were blanketed more then not until the shut down. I get pissed because plants do not do well when 30% of the sunlight is blocked and no clear sunny days promotes fungus.

I will say the blanket was not quite as thick since Trump took office for some reason, and some days it seemed they were giving us a break, but most days it was substantial.

Went out to eat today. Owner said he doesn't require his employees to wear their muzzle, and no employees. Never has. He'll do well with repeat business as others fold up.

Did laugh today as I saw a person driving themselves around alone muzzled up. Laughed again as I saw someone out on a mower cutting his grass, muzzled up.

I don't wear a mask. Sniffled in Goodwill today with the family and was prepared for The Shunning. Didn't happen. As umcomfortable as it is (especially for a social weirdo like myself) to walk around bare-faced, it has given me strength.

Haven't been confronted or shamed yet, though I expect it every time. I have had more positive than negative experiences showing my ugly mug around town. (Big city.) Lead with your actions!
