The rapture is one of the most contended non-essential doctrines of Christianity. Most evangelicals sit in the pre-tribulation camp. That means the rapture starts just prior to the events of Revelation chapter 6.

That much is agreed upon by pretty much everybody: Christians won't see the sky falling with "exceedingly" heavy hail stones, and the REAL battle of Armageddon (not the one that's about to be staged in the Middle East), and the final destruction of Satan's armies.

When the real rapture will take place? Some time after PrncCh@rlesOfW@les claims that he is God. How much longer after that? I don't know, but before the final destruction of humanity, minus a few hundred thousand.

The protestants reject the wisdom of the first apostles and for some reason refuse to read the accounts of the earliest Saints.

If they did they woukd realize that ALL early prosecuted Christians would find the Idea of a Rapture HILARIOUS.
