May set 1 day voting record Today is the first day of 2 weeks of Early Voting in Tennessee. Just came from the polling place (small conservative suburb outside larger city) and the line was literally wrapped around the building! Decided to come back later in the week to vote; there was no place to park. Generally, Tennessee is like 50th in voter turn out. We might set a 1 day voting record today! Tons of posts on Twitter about the long lines all around the state, in both conservative and liberal areas. May set 1 day voting record Honestly I don’t think its just social distancing. Had to drop off packages at my post office next to polling place; no parking their either due to the voters and the gal at the counter said it’s never like this. There’s just a huge amount of people and very long waits. Plus all the people like me who said YIKES not today.
