That doesn't matter because we know they're lying, they know we know they're lying and they don't care. IT'S A DELAYING TACTIC - and a smear, of course. Any smear is good to them.

If they pull this, it means there will have to be another investigation of ACB, by FBI I think (and we know how objective they are), and that will HOLD THINGS UP, probably past the election. That's what they're looking for - a significant DELAY at minimum.

Lindsey Graham is a stupid fucking POS and he should have just gone for the vote, which he would have got, instead of putting ACB - and the nation - through this FARCE.

He's going through a tough election though and may not have wanted to personally put himself on the line. While I don't want to lose the seat, I WOULD be happy to get rid of Graham PERMANENTLY.

I think you're absolutely right but that means she's also....capable of anything. And this isn't just her. If they do this....they will all have coordinated this. Hirono was just picked to ask the question to set up the perjury trap.

I hope I'm wrong, of course, and maybe they'll think better of it. But I DO think Hirono asked that very specific question for a reason....and almost unimaginable reason...but definitely for a purpose they are considering.

Exactly. I also suspect that with ACB being a professor, she's had many hundreds, if not thousands, of students over the years. We already saw how many FACULTY at Notre Dame say the hearings should be postponed or delayed. Can you imagine the STUDENTS? I'm sure they can find at least 1 crazy/paid off student to accuse her. Maybe somebody HAS in the past - she's an attractive woman and there are a lot of crazy people in college. All it takes is ONE. And that charge would cause an investigation to be triggered which would delay the hearing.

They don't care how much that they lie and they don't care about hurting people. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT WINNING. Right now, winning is a DELAY for as long as possible.

That's true. It could also be a "colleague". Look at how many people lied - obviously lied - about Kavanaugh. They should ALL HAVE BEEN CHARGED. Kav himself should have sued each of them. But they get away with it over and over again. Look how many lied about Trump and it was proven repeatedly that they lied. Yet, as far as I know, nothing happened to any of them.

There are NO CONSEQUENCES FOR LYING. So they continue to do it.
