The Last Days in the Life of John Lennon -1980
Lennon's final pivotal year would climax in several moments of creative triumph as he rediscovered his artistic self in dramatic fashion. With the bravura release of the Double Fantasy album with wife Yoko Ono, he was poised and ready for an even brighter future only to be wrenched from the world by an assassin's bullets.

1980 isn't about how the gifted songwriter died; but rather, about how he lived.

I admit the first thing I did when I saw on TV that he died, I called a friend and said "Looks like the Beatles aren't getting back together."

I regret that now.

Heh. It's worse than that.

John actually signed an autograph for the guy who killed him. Then turned around, started to walk inside the Dakota building (his condo) and the asshole shot him in the back.

I'm still not over it...

Re: The Last Days in the Life of John Lennon -1980
Hitler was a talented painter.

Lennon was an invader who lied to sneak into the country(claimed that his wife Yoko and him, only wanted to find Yoko's long lost daughter, as the father was American), and stayed long after he was supposed to of left.

He used his entry into America, to engage in constant promotion of anti-American and subversive sentiments.

He deserved to die.

I will not celebrate vigilant justice, but I will not mourn an enemy of America, and enemy of the American peoples.
