RFID isn't the mark. The mark is about worship:

Revelation 13:14-17  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  15  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  16  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  17  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The same is seen here, (and the Word defines the only way to avoid the mark)

Revelation 14:9-12  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,  10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  11  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

How do you understand Matt. 24 OP?
Only two avenues of escape to make it to the 1 thousand 3 hundred and 5 and 30 days.

Specifically what part of Matthew 24? You mean this part:

Matthew 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

If so, this has already happened. This would be during the time the church went into the wilderness, as Revelation describes, as it is being persecuted by the dragon (Satan) who is at that time operating through the Roman Catholic Church.
