Started watching and didn't realize it was in Martin. I used to live there about a mile and a half from the track. Back in the mid to late 70's. About that same time I worked at the Yamaha shop up in Kalamazoo. There was a motorcycle mechanic of note that had a shop by the track. I can't remember his name but he worked on an old Triumph 500 Tiger hard tail of mine I picked up before I even had my drivers license. I never saw a bike event there though. Heart headlined a rock concert there one year was the last time I was at the track. That's my Martin US 131 trivia for ya...

It was a twin for sure, maybe a trophy? Not 100% on that, because I put TT (?) pipes on it with shorty mufflers, single carb with a little primer button you pushed until gas weeped out it also had the trans case separate from the engine case also there were springs at the rear axle within the hub for a softer ride haha being a hard tail. A cool unique old bike I wish I had never sold. You know how that goes...This was 47 years ago

I'm thinking that primer squirt button must have been a huge starting help, compared to trying to kick start enough vacuum to fire it up.

Luckily it started pretty good. I don't recall ever getting stranded on it. Took it on a road trip one summer from southern MI to northern MI with a buddy of mine. He was on a Honda 350 twin which were pretty nice bikes back then and I took my Triumph. Young and kind of foolish. Lucky we made it back. I dont think I ever got the lights working on it. Magneto? No battery.

That is exactly what a motorcycle is supposed to sound like.

My bike was late 50's The link is me with my bike in 1974? Eventually I put short Z bars on it and painted the tank dark maroon...

Demon power doesn't require the parts, only the octane.

Does anyone want to discuss the difference between AC and DC voltage using demonic sources? Do you want to see where it is mentioned in your religious texts?

How far down the rabbit hole do you really want to go?
