asked myself that same question before

Possibilities are:

1. He's really in love with her and HE thinks she's gorgeous.

2. Because of his wealth, he knows a divorce at this point in his career would cost him AT LEAST 1/2 of his wealth/assets/holdings, plus a million or two in legal fees.

3. He's been with her for over 25 years. Why rock the boat now? If he wants a mistress he can certainly afford on (or several!) If he is looking for strange ass, he can afford that, too. A divorce would not give him any benefit except he could legally remarry and start the whole mess all over again! And I believe he's too bright to do the same thing twice.


BTW: the romantic in me votes and hopes it's number 1. I want to believe that kind of love, although rare, still exists. Don't tell me if I'm totally mistaken about that. Better and kinder to let me live in my ignorance...
