President Donald Trump on Friday tweeted a link to a story entitled “Twitter Shuts Down Entire Network to Slow Spread of Negative Biden News” from the Babylon Bee, a satirical news site, with Trump seemingly unaware that this was genuine fake news, with no basis in reality.

After sharing the link, Trump declared: “Wow, this has never been done in history. This includes his really bad interview last night. Why is Twitter doing this. Bringing more attention to Sleepy Joe & Big T.”

The Babylon Bee describes itself as “the world’s best satire site,” and the banner on its official Twitter account reads: “Fake news you can trust.”
