Inciweb is very slow now that cities are threatened. Everyone must be checking it.

There is a lot of beetle killed trees in the forest up there, just ripe for fire to turn it into a maelstrom. Actually, that’s what is supposed to happen; beetle kill, fire, aspen grow, then pine and spruce take over and it repeats. Very poor forest management in the west.

I hope the elk are OK.
