On the CB they said a trucker was shot and I also heard I can't confirm that a cop was shot on the freeway. So now the highway is an active murder scene and they have shut it down while they do their investigation. Where it is that it won't be open many many hours. Does anybody have any info on this? I will post more info as it comes in but it's not really clear right now. Then people from that town chased him down and shot him 4 times, to death. The section between ex 114 and 117 is shut down as a crime scene. all kinds of cops, tribal police, state troopers and FBI involved! They are diverting traffic around on route 66 between those exits. I detoured to a road that paralleled 40 for about 30 miles It went through an Indian reservation, washboard pavement, angry/murderous looks, for the better part of an hour. My detour put me about 1 mile beyond the blockage.It lasted 10 hours i found out later Route 66? . INFJ; We are the protectors. |

Thank you! Well I finally got through it, a few hours ago. I had to deliver to a home depot and go to my next pick up (and get dinner and beer) before I could check this thread again . I was lucky I got stuck right when it happened, so I only had to go through a "little " traffic. It took me 5 hours to get through it. There was about 15 miles of backed up traffic goong westbound by the time I got theough |
