Recall being very shy about having to change for gym class in front of others girls the same age. Comments about underwear, who could afford fancy matched sets versus who was poor, and who had developed early were the norm. In those days few were fat but those who were experienced bullying.

Can't imagine having to deal with genetic males in the school locker rooms. UGH.
