The Most Important Problem on Earth
No matter who is reading this, where you're from or which side of politics you're on, the chances are, this will resonate with you on some level.

There exist systems that are intentionally designed to keep the rich richer and the poor poorer.

We see it everywhere we go. Ordinary folks lose their homes, livelihoods and will to live while governments casually give banks multi-billion dollar bailouts.

Reporter Stan Grant pointed out today that in the grip of an opioid epidemic and a surge in suicides, American started dying younger. Between 2014 and 2017, US life expectancy declined for three straight years for the first time in a century.

Broadly speaking (not necessarily in America), those who are struggling to keep what little they have are further disadvantaged when the same banks that were bailed out slash interest rates to zero, effectively punishing folks for saving their money.

Then there's the election-cycle; candidates who have been carefully trained in the art of body language and linguistics, raising their hands, palms facing the camera to convey the illusion of honesty, while they say "We're the same, you and I. I know the pain you're feeling, and will make it all better".

After their rallies, they return to their mansions and their servants, read the papers and rub their hands together in glee as the election date approaches - because then they'll have that sweet, well-paying gig for 4-8 years, after which they can retire and claim a whopping big pension.

Sure, they might have made a few policy changes here and there.

But did society radically transform for the better so that the majority of people live healthy, uplifting and prosperous lives?

Did the distribution of wealth change so that the greedy financial institutions pay their fare share of taxes and distribute wealth fairly?

Did social justice become a priority where the system was wiped clean of corruption?

Probably not.

Why?

Because the rich...the major presidential candidates...they're two sides of one coin. And they're both in it together.

As long as we're divided and fighting among ourselves, tearing each other apart, they'll continue making themselves richer, and worse, laughing at our expense while they do it.

Throughout history, many societies have woken up to this fact, and people mobilized en-masse to change this broken, irrational and corrupt status-quo that they've taken to the streets in their millions to change it.

It's only a matter of time before it happens again. The masses might be easy to distract, but when we're drained of what little we have left, the levee finally breaks.

This is the most important problem on earth. The unfair distribution of wealth and power, and the corrupt systems that protect it.

There is no single thing that scares the elite more than serious, comprehensive efforts to overhaul it.

Re: The Most Important Problem on Earth
True...

But once you see through it all, you can game the system to your advantage.

I now own 3 companies - all very profitable. Each with sales in the 5 to 10 million range. I'm now using the revenue to acquire properties and rent them out to people that will never be able to save enough for a down payment to purchase their own house.

10 years ago I lived paycheck to paycheck and then lost my job. I had to step back and analyze what I needed to do to survive. Then I saw it...

If I hadn't lost my job, I would have continued to put in my 40 hours each week and been happy doing so. Now I can't believe I didn't figure it out sooner.

Now, building the empire is actually pretty easy - and relatively risk free.

This is why watching the news often seems like theatre. It's extremely distracting, but often not focused on the real issues that impact people's livelihoods and mental health.

"What's that, Johnny? The teacher's assistant told you about the real poverty levels and what should be done to change them? Oh look, a breaking news alert about a war in some far-flung part of the world. Let's pay attention to that instead!"

"Wow, Mary...Trump is really dominating the air waves and social media, isn't he? I see almost no other news apart from when he has something controversial to say!"

"Hey, Jack! Did you hear about the latest scandal that one of our candidates is involved in? I know you're concerned about issues like corruption, media integrity and child safety ahead of this critical voting date, but just look at this scandal! I mean, EVERYONE is focused on it!"

You get the picture.

Re: The Most Important Problem on Earth
The system should be arrested for imposing this indenturing gulag ... back in the day of made sense and the outcome was sort of ideal minus certain sectors like hand me down culture and particularly food / restaurants - a problem we still need to fix and debut the cure ~ healthy naturally vegan plant based nations ... we're talkin all out full huge vegan grocery stores but room for innovation instead of just replacing the other stuff with vegan plantbased stuff/ now acknowledged as vegan plant based stuff with new labels/ printed greener packaging - mk ultra parve over -

So we're ready to go with the replacement food products but the full transformation done proper as a nation is something we yet have to see ... like the worlds gone tard and ain't comin back

I'm ready for the warpdrive to celestiality of the higher heavens ... the world beyond this machine and we cant have tards like that run among in space , do we need reform school - it's like a national space cadet school where the possibilities are beyond infinite as you tumble through dreamworlds and drug trips and dimensions and times beyond ... then ; the lux capacitor - nebulonic star maker that then superimplodes into the ...

Supermassive ...

Re: The Most Important Problem on Earth
There are only 3 factors of disaster:
1. gender imbalance (distribution as mentioned)
2. population density
3. resource depletion

EVERYTHING fits into that neat package.

Any extra words are just... loud. And probably about "feelings". (feelings aren't facts).
