I used the work for a First union bank and then we sold our credit card portfolio and MBNA came in. The reson i mention this is there is a long hsitory that ties to MBNA and Wachovia and Wells Fargo and Nancy Piglosi

SO i stayed with the company when Wachovia took over First Union and the MBNA credit cards were given to MBNA to keep all of the Firstunion customers. A few years later Wells Fargo says they are going to take over a company that did Negative amotrization loans after telling for years never do an equity line bhind them. They killed them and Wells Fargo( based in San fran, Pelosi district) steps up and says they are interested in Wachovia along with Citi. Wells walks away and CITI says they will look at buying Wachovia. Wells comes back and says we never left the table and the purchase of Wachovia by wells is allowed to proceed.

I know this all seem convoluted but it ties BIDEN, and Pelosi to major financial transactions in the banking world as well.

I have never seen someone walk from a major deal like that and walk back in and get the company. I was internal so i know what happened when Wells left, they left!!!
