The "why now" puzzles me too. I mean radical Islam has been wreaking havoc in France for awhile but for some reason this incident really pushed their buttons. Maybe teachers are really revered in France? Maybe it's just the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back? Idk.

20 years ago France was my most favourite country to visit. I was there last year, it is now a garbage dump over-run with angry, racist, dirty, murdering immigrants.
