The original email metadata contains all sort of information which can be independently verified.
A printout of the email has nothing of the kind and can not be verified by any means.

The laptop materials are definitely real and have been verified.

Any computer forensics expert will tell you that you can't fudge meta data of electronic communication (like emails) and not get caught fudging. That's why Biden's people are not denying the evidence or denying authorship of the info. Same with Hillary's people regarding wikileaks. They can't.

It would be different if all they had was printed paper. You can always photoshop that. But that's not the case here.
